Application perspectives of Rf-Id

The acronym RF-ID means Radio Frequency Identification and it refers to a mass of systems that allow the automatic identification of objects at a distance.
But what are its real applicable perspectives?
For private and university researchers, Rfid is a challenge. Because in the next years it will be necessary to project tags and readers more and more sensitive and intelligent,
For people working in hospitals, civil service, libraries, army, Rfid is a promise. Because thanks to this technology it's possible to assure more control, more safety, more accurate crisis managing.
For professionals of supply chain and handling goods (and Sorting systems for laundries), Rfid is a useful tool today and an essential tool tomorrow. Because, together with other technologies, Rfid gives them and extraordinary control on packages and single products. Through Rfid they can decrease handling costs and increase warehouse efficiency.
For shop owners, Rfid is an opportunity. Because ina few years it will help preventing theafts and improving the shop experience, which is the way consumers interact with the products they want to buy.
And for manufacturers and technology sellers, Rfid is one of the most promising on the next future. Because tags and antennas, the two fundamental elements of a system of radio frequency identification, are rapidly spreading worldwide.

Techical industrial products continue expansion

Although in contrast with the current trend of most companies and Italian activities, producers and distributors of rubber and plastic products can boast a steady expansion both in geographical terms of export and sales proceeds ach ieved.

Indeed, despite the high - sometimes fierce - competition triggered by the countries of South-East Asia (China and India in particular) coming onto the Western markets with highly competitive prices and insignificant, far below the European and North Americans standard, the Italian product stands comparison, in fact continues its expansion, as in the case of safety protections production.

But how can Chinese products have cost so contained if compared to Italian or European production ? Simple, for these main factors that determine the nominal cost of production:

1. Lower labor costs. Enjoying boom economy and a population below the poverty practically infinite (approximately one quarter of the world's population), the cost of laborers and employees is decidedly low. In addition at employees are certainly not guaranteed any right protections that exist in Italy and in most developed and modern economies. 2. Lower costs for electricity and spaces occupied 3. No care and concern for the environment, few rules governing the conduct of business for waste disposal 4. Minor cost of raw material, because conducted independently (perhaps from non-specialized) without care quality 5. Minor controls on the finished product, all at the expense of good quality of final product.

The producers and distributors of technical equipment for industry, have worked on the weaknesses of the competition, certainly not trying to beat the sprint, but in the long distance.

This was possible with the passion for their work and the care for the spasmodic quality of products made and marketed, in addition, many manufacturers have addressed to the first investment on average for the moment: Internet.

Indeed, the creation of a multi-language website and an on-line promotion can reach and satisfy customers from all over the world with a simple click and an investment far lesser than a traditional promotional campaign (print, television and radio).

Success of plastic materials

Plastic materials, in the general common term, are considered the artificial materials with a macromolecular structure that under certain conditions of temperature and pressure suffer permanent variations of form. They obtain malleability under the action of heat.

The beneficial characteristics of plastics compared to metal and not metal materials are the great ease of processing; economy; acoustic, thermal, electrical, mechanical insulation and corrosion resistance. Many plastic materials as nylon, teflon, plexiglass etc. are good for industrial production processes with machine tools quite similar to metallic materials.

Over the years many companies have obtained a succesful development in thermoplastic field, proposing a vaste range of products ad the well known products for safety protections.
